Jack, thanks for the encouragement. As I mentioned in my response to Ed, I have heard from many alumni (Ed, Pat, Carl, Bill). The responses have been wonderful and very helpful. I sure appreciate all the tips, assistance, etc.

CC has approved my request for the surgery and they will now set a date within the next several weeks. I am anxious. As many of you have said, the quality of life is worth the risk.
