When I called Piedmont Hospital about 6:30PM, Wed, I asked as to Michael Wells' condition and the nurse said: "I'll let him tell you himself!" As Jack reported, he sounds a little tired (weren't we all?) but very happy to be in NSR! He had the open chest routine and wonders when he will stop feeling the discomfort. I assured him that he was close to the end of the major discomfort and would soon dismiss the remaining discomfort in exchange for NSR and the renewed engery he will gain quickly.
As Jack said, Michael is very appreciative of the support from board members. He promised that he will reciprocate for others in the near future.
It is great to hear that Michael and Dave have had such successful surgeries. We also have 2 new surgeons/surgical teams to add to the growing list of those wonderful, talented people who can help the AF community by doing this very exacting surgery. God bless them all.
