Met with Carl last week!

Hello again AF buddies :-)

Well, Carl Plaskett and I finally got together in Florida! My hubby and I made a quick visit to Carls office, during lunch hour. We had sandwiches with his wife, and three of the staff who were around. It was fun meeting him!

My impression, was that Carl looks younger than I expected. I think I sort of embarrased him with the great big "hug" upon greeting....I was just so pleased to finally meet one of my AF forum buddies, that I couldn't help it. :-)

I'm going to CC again.....but to an excelently credentialed Infectious Disease doctor. Background from Harvard and Johns Hopkins, so I'm expecting him to do great things for this jaw infection problem. (Told him he had big shoes to fill, and large expectations to meet if he were to come up to Dr. Schweikerts level)

The lastest from the physicians in Florida, was to "open the jaw (gum) up every 6wks, and scrape the bone". Hmmmmmmm...I'm just not quite ready to accept that as the only alternative yet.

You know what???? Last night, after going to bed, I lay and was aware that my heart was beating erradically. I got a stethescope so hubby could hear it too. It was all over the board...no pattern, or repetitious pauses or extra beats....just crazy. Now, I "felt fine". Not even short of breath. Not alarmed.

I'm thinking some kind of stress response...but wonder "what".
