Katie. I had many problems post op from the maze. I don't know much of your situation. I also have a pacemaker that was installed in 9-27-99. It only works if my rate goes below 50bpm or it will defibrillate me it I get VF. I had problems with it paceing me post op when should not have. Let know more of your situation and I will go into more detail with what happened to me. Mike
