It is not unusual to have an attack of A-Fib and not be aware of it. This happened to me when I was in the Hospital as the doctors were starting me on tamborcor. I, of course, was on a monitor and the nurse came into my room with a serious look on her face to check my blood pressure (which the nurse told me was elevated). I felt nothing but learned from the doctor later that I was having an attack of A-Fib.
I am sure you have already checked your blood pressure. If I were you I would check in with the EP doctor.
