Pete: I would have never thought of it. The advice from an attorney as to what you added to your consent form is a great idea. (Perhaps because of your earlier experience at Han......?)
Potential PVA/PVI/Maze patients NEED to ask the important questions re: experience, EXACT description of what version of a proposed procedure is going to be performed, the type of energy source, success/complication rates, etc., and compare that info with what has been reported by others as successful.
