Ditto on having your thyroid checked. Afib and thyroid problems many times go hand in hand. Being cold is very likely thyroid. Most doctors do not understand the thyroid very well and don't test accurately.
What you need tested is:
* Highly sensitive TSH
* Free T3
* Free T4
* Thyroid antibodies.
Because they don't understand it, most will try to order the wrong tests.
