MAZE scheduled for August 8

I am scheduled for the MAZE procedure to be performed at the Ohio State University Medical Center on August 8 by Dr. Robert Michler and Dr. David Brown. As the days wind down to the day of surgery, I have become very confident with having the MAZE procedure performed. The staff in the surgeons' offices and contributors to this site have been extremely helpful in preparing me for this. I am a 66 year old male who has been dealing with chronic AF for over 25 years. I had made an earlier post to this site dated June 27 if there is interest in more information about my case. I look forward to continuing to learn about others' experiences as they are posted here and will post more about my ongoing experiences as well.
