It's been a while, I thought you would have an appt for the pva by now girl-friend!!! Is the Dr "making you try this Drug first" or is this something that you want to try? Have you had a normal Echo??? I was told that you can start this med if your heart is "structurally" sound. Mine was so a Dr. here in Chicago started me on it and-- WOW-- gave me some whopper pvcs!!! So I then went on Sotolol, this semi-worked, no pvcs' and it kept me out of the ER with a lower heart rate until the ablation. You are way to young to consider medication as a fix for the rest of your life Jeanne. Go to one of the best and get the ablation. It's really no big deal in the RIGHT HANDS. Allie
