Glenn, From my perspective of having had both a maze at the Mayo Clinic and a PVA/ablation combination at the Cleveland Clinic just last week and before that enduring a depressing five year run around by cardiologists both in France and Connecticut along with all manner of undesirabloe drugs, I'd say forget the second opinion stuff and cut all that frustration you've endured and call the A-fib Center at the Cleveland Clinic. With all you've been through it sounds to me as if you're ready for the Cleveland Clinic as soon as possible. Yes, it's inconvenient to get there, there is a wait for appointments, you have to pay for a nearby hotel and all those expenses that go with it, but hey you have only one life to live and only one heart and you might as well take it to the place with the best success rate in the USA for heart procedures.
