which has some relevance to your question.
When I had the Maze done, the surgeon, Dr McCarthy, had done over 300 procedures with zero deaths and zero strokes. These numbers gave me the confidence to allow him to cut me.
Thirty-three endoscopic Maze procedures is hardly a statistically significant sample. Also, how many deaths and how many strokes?
