I was able to see the EP and surgeon one day in Houston and have maze surgery the next day. You will probably be able to do the same.
My blood pressure also would go sky high and then drop very low while in A-Fib. It really makes you feel awful.
I think it is very wise of your EP to give you a stress test before putting you on Flecanide. I was on this drug for three months. It controlled my A-Fib but I could not handle the side effects. Some people can tolerate it.
