My September MAZE Operation at Cleveland Clinic

I am a 59 years old Male, with a Chronic Lone Atrial Fibrillation for the past 4 years. I am Sheduled for an EPS with Dr. R. Mills on 9/10 & 11, and the Maze operation with Dr. McCarthy on 9/14. I will be staying at the Intercontenental Hotel with my wife starting 9/9.

I need to hear from the personal experience of the A.Fibbers who perforformed the MAZE operation with Dr. McCarthy at CC and there advise on what to do during the tests and in between, during the hospital stay and afterward.

My wife is worried about the operation success & the time it takes for the recovery. I cannot say that I am not worried either, although I am committed to go though with it.

Your help to give me your your experience will help us a lot.
