My husband, Dave, had the Maze procedure done by Mr. Cox 3 years ago. His recovery has been wonderful. Every once in a while he thinks he's "out" but then he checks and he's not. Very normal I'm sure.
Anyway, last year he was let go from his job of 25 years, and we were on the search for some replacement LIfe Insurance. We have had an EXTREMELY difficult time finding life insurance. The company we want to go with turned us down because of the heart condition, arrhythmia, even though it was fixed. Has the life ins. industry not been made aware of the fact that the success rate of this surgery is amazing?Have any of you experienced this too? And, if you found something...who with? I want THAT underwriter! :)
Thanks!
Sara
