W/av ablated is Maze 4 Me?

In Aug 99 underwent Av node ablation w/ pacemaker at St Francis in NY . Like many AV's I am in constant but controlled AF. Fear of stroke and impact in lifestyle change has me considering MAze. Please, any suggestions? I am a 46 year old male with no underlying heart disease and w/ exception of AF, I am in good health..
