John, tell me something. Are the maze procedures that are being performed now the same as when you and Jack and others who have had almost instant success following surgery? I'm reading about linear ablations along with maze surgery. What is the purpose in changing how the maze surgery used to be performed to how 'they' are doing it now if more people were having almost instant success post maze and not having to return for follow-up ablations?

Seems to me if it's necessary to go to the archives to read about the majority of instantaneous post maze cures, that tells me that the procedure of performing maze must have been better than now with so many having to return for ablations.

As all of you are aware, I'm a newcomer here and until three weeks ago I didn't know any kind of cure was available. I am pursuing having either PVA or maze done. It's up to the Dr's to make the determiination which is best for me. I really don't know.

Regards,
Glenn Camp
