I see that you are looking for a specialist closer to home. While I am completely satisfied with Cleveland Clinic and would recommend that everyone go there, you might wish to travel to Houston if not to Cleveland. In Houston Dr. John Seger (713-791-9444 or 888-377-8224) is a very fine electrophysiologist. His associate Dr. Jai Cheng has performed hundreds of PVI ablations with a low rate of complications. Jai operates out of the Texas Heart Institute at St. Luke's. Right now and for two more weeks, Southwest Airlines is running a special $39-$44 one way from Dallas to Houston. If the ideal appeals to you, you could schedule an appointment and consultation.
