MY HEART IS NO LONGER AN ISSUE, (other than to celebrate it!) THIS IS MY FIRST CHRISTMAS WITHOUT AFIB! We should all light a candle at the Christ-mass celebration, for those who are searching, and for ourselves.
It's such a change is mindset for me....if I die a premature death, it won't be from my heart anymore!

I looked back on my notes from the Summitt, and the CC moderator in charge during the Dr. Guillinov surgery (I "think" McCarthy) made a statement that they had been doing Cox Maze III on lone atrial fibrillation patients, at CC for 10yrs, with a success rate of 92% on LONE AF patients. A participant question was, "was this overkill for LAF?" The resounding response from the surgeon, was, "Not for the grateful patient, and not for the humbled surgeon, who get's to see his successes."
