I may have given the wrong name to what the DR is propossing. It is the new technique using Microwave radiofrequency. According to the DR they still open the chest and ribs, however it is done on a beating heart rather than having to be on a machine. As you can probably tell, I am new to all of this, which is why I am here searching. Thank you Carl and Jack for your replies. Dona
