Pat, I was 64 when I had the maze, but I was one of the fortunate ones that had a rapid recovery, or maybe it was the excellent surgeon.
I mowed my own yard at 2 weeks post op, and was driving at one month, or less.
I was still retaining some soreness, but could do most things, (with caution), at 6 weeks.
Everyone seems to have different recovery rates, and time it takes to feel normal.
From what you said, you shouldn't have much problems with the recovery period.
