Angie, I've been out of town so I just read your posting. I am so furious at what happened to you. Your response to the woman on the referral committee was perfect and very accurate.

I had Blue Shield and I believe both the "Blues" cover the maze and you can find it listed on their website. I don't know what hospital you were going to but often they know how to deal with insurance companies to get approvals. Cleveland did all the work for me despite my being from California.

John did some good work getting the name of that cardiologist in Sioux Falls. Keep going on this. If you were closer, I'd come over and babysit for you. Best of luck.
