Chris: While it is disconcerting, you are not alone with this "glitch". I had one at about 2-1/2- 3 months, and then again at 19 months. Both times cardioversion was necessary as Rythmol actually increased my HR when it was tried.
I am now at 34 months post-maze and I don't believe I have had any other "glitches".
It is a little premature to think you are going to need a "touch-up"; but should these episodes increase in frequency, it MIGHT be necessary, as it has been for a few other mazers.
