Patrick,
I too went to an EP in St. Louis at Wash U, and I found that they were very, very conservative, and I became frustrated. Not that they aren't good doctors, but I was just so miserable, and dissapointed...I swore to never go to another EP/cardioligist again, unless they carried me in on a gurney unconscious!! After a few bouts that scared the hell out of me, I renigged.Try this....it won't hurt. Email my Dr.Robert Schweikert at CC. He's an EP, but would support you for a Maze, if you want one. Tell him you are on this forum, and I suggested you write.
Explain clearly, the basics and your thinking about progressing to a Maze. I would expect him to respond soon,if he's in town. He puts his e-address right on his business cards, so I'm sure he won't mind if I share it.~~~~~schweir@ccf.org~~~~~
I'm sure everyone who's read your post is worried that you have PV stenosis. Please get yourself taken care of ASAP! Five months IS too long to wait.
We will want to hear from you later, but for now you've got to be the squeaky wheel and work at getting yourself well!!! You've got my prayer! Peace, Sarah
