I too went to an EP in St. Louis at Wash U, and I found that they were very, very conservative, and I became frustrated. Not that they aren't good doctors, but I was just so miserable,and dissapointed...I swore to never go to another EP/cardioligist again, unless they carried me in on a gurney unconscious!! Try this....it won't hurt. Email my Dr.Robert Schweikert at CC. He's an EP, but would support you for a Maze, if you want one. Tell him you are on this forum, and I suggested you write.

Explain clearly, the basics and your thinking about progressing to a Maze. I would expect him to respond soon,if he's in town. He puts his e-address right on his business cards, so I'm sure he won't mind if I share it.~~~~~schweir@ccf.org~~~~~

I'm sure everyone who's read your post is worried that you have PV stenosis. Please get yourself taken care of ASAP! Five months IS too long to wait.
