All is going well so far, no a-fib at all. However,
I have had frequent and persistant premature atrial
contractions since two weeks after surgery.
Both the surgeon and my NEW cardiologist say it may
resolve itself given a little more time for scar tissue
to form and even if they don't go away, I'm told that
they are almost always completly benign.
since amiodarone and atenolol didn't supress them I've
been med free for a week and feel great!(My choice)
It also is great to be back at the gym after so long.
Walking and jogging on the treadmill is going to take
alot of work to get the endurance up. Weight lifting is
going much better. With the exception of the amount of
weight,I can do all the things I was doing before.
Even working the chest with VERY light weight and
higher reps to work the muscle with out stressing the
sternum. BTW it took just over three weeks to sleep on
my side.
I hope this info is usefull and not just me rambling.
P.S. Any feedback on the PAC's would be appreciated as
so far I havn't heard of anyone else describing this
problem.
I hope everyone is enjoying the best health.
