I just got out of the hospital. My cardiologist did a cardioversion, and it took on the first try. I'm going to take it easy for a week, then hopefully head back to work. The healing from the surgery is going quite well. I hadn't lost faith in the surgery yet, as I had heard that afib might happen. However, my concern was that it lasted 9 days, whereas before I had always converted on my own at no more than 3 days.
