Roger, no one should tell you what to do, and if I was in your condition I don't really know what I would do myself.
By already having the maze, and knowing how I feel now compared to the way I was, there is no doubt it was one of the smartest decisions I ever made. Most of the people on the board, as myself was more debilitated by AF, than you, from what you described.
I had AF most of my life with little effects until the last few years. The last few years it was ruining my life, and in 1998, at the age of 64 I decided that I could no longer put up with it, if there was a cure available. For me it was a complete cure from the day of my surgery, and it has been great ever since. One of the best benefits for me was no more AF medications.
