Yes, I have just today been advised to consider the MAZE because of AF I have had for about 4 years. On Coumadin, Vasotec, Lopresser and Lasix. Have been on all the antiarrythic drugs, Betapace (sotolot), etc. and have had about 6 oy 7 Cardioversions. Am considering the MAZE....51 year old female...as active as I can be but can only do about 2mph on treadmill.
used to be able to do 4mph.
Just wanted you to know.....I have heard very good things baout it...but you sound so active...not like a person in AF at all...I would think abut it definately and weigh the pluses and minuses.
