My thanks to everyone who has responded to my first message - it has been four days since Jack's operation and things are largely going OK. However, I do appreciate Jack Drum's prayer list (and we can use any others you all have to spare).
My Jack had a spell of ventrical tachycardia yesterday (a new symptom for him) and while I know it is within the realm of expected reactions to the surgery - it's all a bit frightening. They have him on a support pacemaker as his heart beat isn't as strong as they'd like. I suspect there are not a lot of folks who have walked down this path before us - but can use any insights you all might have.
