I know how family can play into the decision. I am 38 years old and have 3 kids, 1,3,6 yrs. old. The biggest reason that made me go through with the Maze was to enjoy my kids. I couldn't ride bikes with my son or run around. I always felt so bad that I didn't want to do anything with them, just lie around. I had my procedure in January at CC and recently went into NSR for good I hope. I have been playing ball, riding my bike and enjoying my kids. It has helped my relationship with my wife also. It was a good choice for me, but may not be for everyone. The biggest concern I had going into my operation was leaving my kids without a Dad.
