Joseph, I too have had frequent pacs and pvcs after MAZE. I did have pacs before surgery also. My surgery was in Sept.'99. They have decreased but I still get them and they do sometimes make my heart beat fast similar to what Steve Giddings described. If the heart rate does not come down I take a beta blocker which lowers the heart rate and also helps some with the pvcs.
