Henry: You are right, I WAS proselytizing, and am glad that it worked for you and a number of others who have subsequently come to this board for a "breath of fresh air" and no nonsense discussions, and then gone on to have successful Maze/PVA procedures. A number have called and written to thank me, yet never posted here.
I read those other boards (and periodically add some comments), but I went through all of the suggested "remedies", including elimination of many things from my diet, lifestyle changes, and adding potassium, magnesium, hawthorne, fish oil, CO Q10, etc., all to no avail. (Actually, I DID notice that MSG in any amount was a dramatic trigger for ME.)
Some combinations of lifestyle, diet, nutrition changes undoubtably help some folks, but I wanted a WHOLE life back, with no drugs. Finding this board at it's inception changed my life within 4 months, while the other boards had only suggested vague obscure anecdotal remedies for symptoms.
Reading happy posts, talking & meeting happy former afibbers (and "those thinking of it"), are now an enjoyable part of my NEW life. I only wish all afibbers could experience this joy!
