Richard, thanks for the information. If you are having the catheterization done Fri., do you have any idea when you will be having the surgery. Are you being admitted into the hospital for the cath. or as a outpatient.
I was admitted and had my catheterization on a Thrus., and had my surgery on Fri. morning.
I am not familiar with your surgeon, but most of the maze surgeons are top notch surgeons. My surgeon was not one of the noted ones, but was one who started doing the surgery early, around 1993. I have been AF and medication free ever since I came out of the OR.
