I had a mitral repair and maze in November. I was sinus from the operation forward. My doc still had me on coumadin for 4 months. He now has me on an 81 mil asprin. There seems to be a difference of opinion from other "mazers" about the effectiveness of any asprin except the 325 mil uncoated one. See the discussion "Coumadin after MVR and Maze" a week ago.
