Like you, I also got more frequent afibs following an ablation. I think Henry's on-target in recommending wariness about another ablation. The maze did the trick for me and has given me my life back. The reason I got an ablation and then an atrial pacemaker (also unsuccessful) before going for maze surgery was that I was trying to be medically responsible and opt for less invasive, less risky procedures that could remedy my problem. If I had it to do over, the maze would be my first choice after I had failed on drugs (not EVERY drug). Good luck in your pursuit of a cure. Don't accept anything less.
