I went through a lot of stages where different "tricks" would get my heart back to NSR. At first, I could do a "valsalva" manuver (holding breath, with bearing down and slow exhale). Then Atenelol (BP lowering med) made it so I didn't FEEL it so much. (It was still A-fibbing, but I wouldn't be calling the doctor about it) Exercise helped for a long time, while resting is when it would hit me. Then the episodes just got worse, and if I tried to exercose, I'd about faint.

I've heard similar stories over and over, and everyone eventually runs out of tricks, and we're stuck with it! THEN, I read that the longer you have Afib, the harder it is to cure!!!....A dollar short and a day late.

Keep researching, and good luck.

Sarah
