The endoscopic mitral valve repair or replacement is available at various places around the world. Since Dr. Saltman is now doing complete mircowave maze surgery endoscopically, it might be interesting to find out if he can do the requred valve procedure concomitantly. He is one of the maze surgeons listed on the alumni board in the state of New York, I believe at Stony Brook University Hospital. If you go to Cleveland, certainly you will be in the best place for open heart surgery. What ever you choose, good rhythms to you.
