Pati

It's good to hear things are gradually falling in place for you. Bumps along the road are something I had too and still am having for that matter. Fortunately most mazers here have really good success post-maze and I hope that is what you continue to have too. In the course of 24 day maze hospitalization I too had pericardial effusion requiring urgent surgery and then pleural effusion and then other hiccups as well. I don't want to unnerve you or anyone, but you may wish to check archive for my history. At 20 months post maze I am still not in NSR and at this point have given up on that. Along the way at ten months post-maze it was necessary to have a pacer implanted. I feel it's important to stay informed and try not to get discouraged. Fortunately I am very pleased with how junctional rhythm supports my active lifestyle.

My best to you!

Roger
