It's died down, but over the last while, we've had some major problems with viruses being mailed to people and other problems. So far advertising and SPAM hasn't been a problem - but could be more in the future. As we get the site listed in search engines, etc. there can and will be more email.

You do not HAVE TO post your email address to play here, but it is highly encouraged and there are advantages. If you post a correct address, a reply to your post is automatically emailed to you. Others can contact you for personal email, business, etc.

We do not collect or sell the addresses. We do not mail out any advertising or solicitations of our own. Sadly, there is software and companies on the web that do gather addresses and there is little protection over that. If you are deluged with SPAM, then one step is a unique address just for posting at discussion groups. One possibility if you want is yourname@mazesurgery.com

I use a unique address for anywhere I post my email address. Then, I KNOW who is spamming me, selling lists, etc. and I can take some action, etc.

Yet, the email can add up - and so too with the viruses. They've been ridiculous lately. Even though the software I use has stopped every single virus, it became quite annoying along with the SPAM. It had hit a point of probably 400 spam emails per day and I want to share an incredible tool.

There is a program called "Email Washer" that will check your email, download the headers and give you a chance to delete or even "bounce" the emails back. It's actually a great feeling. It's like giving the spammers the old one finger wave when you bounce their email....AND... YOU WILL LIKELY BE TAKEN OFF THE LIST AND THE SPAM WILL END. Cool. It's also valuable with viruses. Now you don't even need to download them and hope your software catches it. It NEVER has to touch your computer.

It's at: http://www.mailwasher.net/

It's a free program, but only took me about 5 seconds to fire off a donation to him for a very valuable tool.
