Yes. You choose who is blacklisted and can mark friends, etc.

It only deletes spam or problem email that you choose. When I started with it, I had no deletion or marking features. Then when you choose to bounce someone, it is blacklisted and marked for deletion if another email comes. You can add or remove people from your blacklisted list or friends list at any time.

I was receiving so much spam, I set it to automatically mark the blacklisted emails for bounce and deletion. Then I set it to automatically delete those that I had blacklisted because it was becoming a pain to mark them every time. Now I don't even see them come in. Actually they don't. They are deleted from the server automatically.

I've yet to lose an email I might have wanted. It downloads the "Header" which tells you who it is to, who it is from and the subject line. If that isn't enough for a decision, you can double click and it will securely view the text of the email without downloading it. That's when I find out one with a deceptive subject is actually spam. I say it securely views them, because it does not diplay pictures, graphics, run scripts, etc. That also protects against viruses and privacy violations. Sometimes people don't realize that even emails can put cookies on your computer and track you with things like "web bugs".

I was interested in a program like this, but hadn't made the move yet until some emails became locked up in my account. After a couple hours calling tech support again and again - and re-booting my computer probably twenty times - they suggested a program that would read the email from the server and give me the option of deletion in case of future email jams.

It's really kind of funny. I'm like the guy on the TV commercial that looks like he is playing games, but is really just trying to delete all the pop up windows.

I wait to hear the sound or see the little indicator of new email just for the sheer pleasure of throwing it right back at them. I'm not sure I make any sound effects as I blow up their emails, but I might.
