Hi everyone. I arrived home from CC yesterday. Today is 7 days post maze. Flying was a bit of a challenge--it took me about 6 hours before I could lie down on my couch--but the staff at Delta was wonderfully helpful. I have some pain but it is not bad, manageable during the day with extra-strength Tylenol, I hope, but I do still need percocet at night. I tire easily when walking--mainly a breathing problem. I still have a small part of both lungs that is not inflated and am using my breathing gadget faithfully. My heart beat is different. It reads as being in NSR almost all of the time and yet it is elevated--90-100 BPM at rest--and I have big, whopping palpitations. It's like when the washer is spinning out of balance. If you realign the clothes, it is nice and smooth. I haven't been able to realign the clothes, yet. But it doesn't hurt like the AF used to. I do not have any regrets about the maze.

Thank you to all for your supportive prayers. I can't express how much they helped!

If anyone wants info about the CC area--good cab driver, where to stay, where to eat, etc, let me know.
