Pam: I don't believe the success rate at the CC for women to be much different than that for men. Blood vessel size and WHERE they have to ablate are probably the most important factors as to how long the procedure lasts or if an addtional ablation is required. Ask your CC cardiologist all the questions you can think of when you get there. They will take the time to answer them all.
You will be there at the same time as Ozzi Nassar, who will probably be at the Intercontinental Hotel down the street. Get to meet him and you will not feel so alone.

I had the full chest maze and traveled back to Florida and had to change planes in Atlanta. I was tired and a little sore from sitting with fluid rentention in my lower legs. I was up to 6 miles/day walking 3 days later. It will be MUCH easier for you, I am sure, but Angie will probably add her usual joyful contribution.
