Maze Long term results

Hello everybody,
I am reading this board regulary. Once I even posted message here. Recently I was reading some other board and run into a message of the person who had Maze procedure more than 10 years ago. He actually was back into Afib and having some other problems. So my question is :
Is there anybody (among readers of this board) who is close to 10 years or already over 10 years post Maze.
Would like to hear outcome. Besides that It is very interesting to hear from mazers if the do regular check up with cardiologist (echo,EKG,etc..) and if there any changes found,because that person (who had Maze and started to have problems after 10 years)
also started to have heart enlargement.....
The reason I am asking because for me ( and all of us)
the Maze procedure seems to be last line of defense.
