People who follow this website are looking for cures to afib, not just the temporary or symptomatic relief provided by drugs. The Maze has been the main focus of this website because the Maze was by far the surest way to get cured. Now that ablations are getting better, they may be the best choice for many people with LAF. Should another website be setup for people interested in ablations or do you think it would be better to expand this website into www.afibcures.org or something like that?

Since people who have Mazes sometimes need ablations and vice versa, I would vote to address both topics on this website.

Mike

P.S. I am doing well since my ablation on November 25th. I have had only one afib since the ablation -that was on the day I quit taking Toprol XL (ten days ago). I use to have afibs about every 3 days, so things are looking good with respect to being cured. After my heart finishes healing over the next month, I hope to join the ranks of those of you who have already been cured. Happy Holidays!
