Pati, I am a very successful maze alumni who now runs, plays tennis, backpacks and takes no drugs nor have I for almost two years. Given this and what little I know about you and your condition, I would look at the pulmonary vein ablation procedure at CC if your insurance will so allow. Jack says it all, as usual. The science is changing and given the fact that you are not quite yet chronic try the PVI (look for other postings). That is what I would do and if that doesn't work, then the maze has been great for me and I would recommend it. Henry says it all in that the docs at CC whether for a PVI or a maze are on top of most things. This is from a guy from Ventura, California who flew to CC to have a maze. Good luck.
