Howard, thanks for the update. I knew that Dr. Saltman had been the maze surgeon there, but I didn't know he was doing the microwave maze. I will have to get in touch with him and ask him more about it.
I agree with Carl on the meds. I think you will feel much better as soon a you can get your doctor to reduce and maybe take you off of them. I was lucky and was taken off all my AF medications at time of surgery, but my surgery was for AF only. You went through much more surgery than I did. Talk to your doctors about the medications and don't reduce or stop them on your own.
Please keep us posted on how you are doing, and give your input to all the others asking questions on the board.
