Tom, If you have followed this or any other heart message boards or done any research on the subject you should know better than what your cardiologist is telling you Did he recommend any other treatment choices.
Tom I would first check out the statistics from the hospitals that are doing the maze. These facilities and surgeons can't change their result like this.
After you find out for sure what the real story is, Find yourself another cardiologist. Any Cardiologist that puts out miss information this bad can't be up to date on much else either.
