Phillip, Jack's questions are good as we are all interested in some of this stuff. I will tell you that when I had my maze, I was scheduled for a Monday. This was in Cleveland and I live in California so I was initially bummed about the delay but reconciled myself to the fact that I would have to endure the weekend for the procedure. So, I am sitting in my room on the Wednesday afternoon five days prior and I get a call from the Dr. McCarthy's assistant asking if I could come in to see the doctor as they wanted to do it the next day, Thursday. Gulp!!I went down and had a great talk with him and the next morning headed on over for the "maze". Like you, I guess I didn't get much time to think about it and that might have been good. If you find my posts up above, you will see that it went just fine. All I can tell you is the sooner the better and you will be just fine. I don't know your history but if you have endured AFib like many of us, you will soon be out running, playing tennis, rowing, cycling or whatever. My best to you and keep us up to date on your progress.
