Don't be surprised if your cardiologist downplays the maze procedure. Many cardiologist are not up on the effectiveness of the maze or they feel that the maze is overkill for AF.
For the many people here who has been cured of AF, the Maze is what made sense to them.
Just read and learn all you can about your condition and what treatments are available, and the effectiveness of each treatment.
The maze has the highest cure rate, but PVA's are getting better, when performed by the best in the field.
