Regarding migrains while on coumadin, yes, I got them more frequently, but luckily they went away with 2 ibupropins. I still get them on occasion, but coumadin made the problem a bit worse.
My doctor was going to pull me off coumadin after checking to see if my atrial size was below a certain level, as he stated that the risk of stroke was low with a small atrial size(and an age below 60). When I found out my atria had increased is when I got the maze.
