The reason you MAY feel PVCs more than PACs is because PACs almost always "close the door" to backward blood flow and cause the ventricle to contract in coordination with the atria. If a PVC occurs at the right(wrong) time the contractionmay occur immediately with the atrial contraction. In that case, the av valves are open, and there isa large amount of back flow into both the pulmonary and systemic venous system. You feel it as a thud.
